According to claims by The Athletic, Atletico Madrid had approached Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos over the possibility of joining them next summer.

Ceballos will be a free agent at the end of the season, and has been targeted by Atletico Madrid who want to sign him up for free.

Meanwhile, Relevo’s credible Sergio Santos has reported that the Los Blancos has planned to offer the midfielder an extension until 2026-2028.

Ceballos is expected to accept the deal and stay at Santiago Bernabeu, which has been his priority despite interest from other top sides.

The Spaniard has been in fine form this season, and has played 38 matches (with 14 starts) for the club. He has contributed with one goal and 7 assists as well.
