Carlo Ancelotti has revealed his disappointment as Vinicius Jr picked up another yellow card on Tuesday night.
Vini Jr received a 14th booking in the 4-2 defeat to Girona, and it’s a cause for concern for Carlo Ancelotti.
The Brazilian has thus received six yellow cards more than any other Real Madrid player, and Ancelotti has said a forward player shouldn’t be receiving that much cards.
After the defeat, Ancelotti was asked about Vinicius Jr’s disciplinary record.
“It’s too many for a player in his position. I have told him that several times,” stated the Italian.
Meanwhile, Vinicius Jr has hit out at La Liga officials following the game against Girona.
Vinicius has revealed his shock at the officiating, after he was issued a yellow card against Girona.
A fans site posted to social media: “Vinicius Jr was lying on the ground and the Girona player kicked the ball at him. Vini complained, then took a card and the rival nothing.”
Vinicius then posted a response to the note.
“LaLiga,” he stated with two laughing emojis.
