Rodrygo was one of the best players on the pitch as Real Madrid beat Almeria 4-2.
For Karim Benzema’s second goal, Rodrygo got away from an Almeria defender with an incredible move, as he put the ball around the defender to collect on the byline to set up Benzema.
Rodrygo analysed his manouevre skill that worked perfectly for the goal.
He said: “I don’t know what happened in my head. It was very quick, automatic. I didn’t have very many options, it was my only way out. It was a nice ‘self-pass’, let’s see if I can do it more often.
“I always speak very highly of Karim because he is a friend and a world-class player. We already know that he plays very well, that’s why he’s the best player in the world and he proves it in every game. It’s always a pleasure to be able to give him an assist.”
