Manchester City legend Joleon Lescott has backed Manchester City to progress to the Champions League final after the 1-1 draw against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The second-leg of the Champions League semi-final clash will be at the Etihad Stadium next week and Lescott expects Manchester City to score more goals and progress to the final.
Lescott told BT Sport: “You come here with optimism that you’re going to win. You would have taken 1-1 but over the course of the tie you’d expect Manchester City to score a few more goals and go through.”
Same predictions were given in the first leg, but Man City were underwhelming, despite having all the possession.
