The first-leg of the Champions League semi-final clash between Real Madrid and Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday ended in a 1-1 draw.
Ahead of the second-leg at the Etihad Stadium next week, Spanish media outlet Radio Marca has revealed Carlo Ancelotti’s game plan is to drop Rodrygo to the bench and play Camavinga in midfield in a 4-4-2 defensive formation.
The report adds that Ancelotti’s plan against Manchester City next week will be to — “Run down the clock”.
We’d see how this goes. But I don’t see Ancelotti dropping Rodrygo. The trio of Rodrygo, Karim Benzema and Vinicius Jr can unlock any defence in the world.
