Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti seems to have ruled out Karim Benzema, David Alaba and Rodrygo for the weekend clash against Getafe.

According to Ancelotti, the aforementioned trio received some blows on Tuesday during the Champions League clash with Manchester City.

Dani Carvajal will also be unavailable for selection against Getafe due to the red card that he picked up in the team’s last La Liga game with Real Sociedad earlier this month.

The likes of Lucas Vazquez, Alvaro Odriozola, Eden Hazard, Dani Ceballos, Mariano Diaz and Marco Asensio will be among those hoping to earn starting roles against a Getafe side battling relegation.

Speaking further on the team that will face Getafe, Ancelotti told reporters: “We want to win tomorrow. Our focus is not on City.

“Ferland Mendy and Dani Ceballos will return to play tomorrow.

“Courtois will play tomorrow, I have doubts about Viní Jr. Viní Jr. will play tomorrow, I don’t know if he starts but he will surely play.

“I won’t tell you who will play tomorrow because I don’t want to give Getafe an advantage. Some players are tired so I won’t risk them tomorrow.”
