Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has again hailed Vinicius Jr as the best player in the world.

The Italian boss has made that statement a good number of times this season, despite the fact that Vinicius has never won the Ballon d’Or.

Explaining his stance on Vinicius, Ancelotti said: “It’s very nice (Vini Jr’s form). His way of playing is spectacular. Right now, if he’s not the best, we’re close.

“He contributes a lot. He is a very decisive player. Hopefully he can continue.

“I like his way of understanding football and life. We are friends and I love him. I wish him well.”

Ancelotti also praised Rodrygo, who has been brilliant this season as well.

On Rodrygo Goes, Ancelotti said: “The statistics say that he has played almost all the important games. The team handles the presence of three forwards very well. He has turned out well and he has deserved it. He has contributed a lot.”
