Real Madrid got the three points, as the Los Blancos sealed a 1-0 victory over Getafe.

Carlo Ancelotti rotated his starting team for this game, and handed a rare start to Eden Hazard, with the likes of Ferland Mendy, Aurelien Tchouameni, Marco Asensio, Dani Ceballos and Lucas Vazquez also making the starting team.

The first-half ended goalless, with chances far and few for both sides.

Carlo Ancelotti brought in Toni Kroos at half-time to replace Mendy who was just returning from injury. And after the hour mark, he brought in the trio of Luka Modric, Vinicius Jr and Mariano Diaz for Federico Valverde, Eden Hazard and Dani Ceballos.

The changes brought an instant vibrancy to the team, with Asensio scoring ten minutes afterwards to put the Los Blancos ahead.

Six minutes later, Vinicius thought he had doubled the lead, but it was ruled out for offside.

The game eventually ended 1-0.

Up next for Real Madrid is the Champions League clash against Manchester City.
