Valverde reaches major milestone after win over Getafe

For the Uruguayan, it was his 200th appearance in a Real Madrid shirt.

The 24-year-old is in his fifth year at the club, and has reached this landmark after playing a key role in the first team.

During that time, Valverde has won 1 Champions League, 2 Club World Cups, 1 Uefa Super Cup, 2 LaLiga titles, 1 Copa del Rey and 2 Spanish Super Cups.

Valverde’s 200 games are spread as follows: LaLiga (135), Champions League (38), Copa del Rey (17), Spanish Super Cup (7), Club World Cup (2) and Uefa Super Cup (1).

Also, the Uruguayan is having his best ever season, as he has broken his record of appearances with 52 games. It has also been his most clinical campaign in front of goal, with the midfielder scoring 12 times and providing five assists.
