Manchester City defender Kyle Walker has reserved massive praise for Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr.

The Englishman was up against the tricky Brazilian last week, but couldn’t stop him from scoring.

Kyle Walker was seen exchanging pleasantries with Vinicius after the game.

Speaking about Vinicius ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League second leg tie, Walker said: “We give Vinicius the respect he deserves. But we’re not going to let him go ahead and score.”

The Man City defender continued: “If I can’t compete against these great players then I shouldn’t be here. I have to deal with the best.

“It’s a battle against one of the best players in the world. I have faced many who have been as good as him. It will be a great battle.”
