Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has said he’s not only wary of Erling Haaland ahead of Real’s Champions League clash with Manchester City, but also the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez.
“We are not only thinking about Haaland. There’s De Bruyne, Gundogan, Mahrez… It’s tough. What we are clear about is that if they [Manchester City] have to score, let it be soon. That way, we’ll have more time to react,” Carlo Ancelotti has told the media.
Interestingly, Ancelotti is also expecting City to try and score an early goal.
“We know it’s very likely City will score in the first few minutes. We all remember what happened last season. It will be an exciting game. That’s for sure,” the Real Madrid boss added.
The first leg ended in a 1-1 draw at the Santiago Bernabéu last week Tuesday.
