According to reports, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti will drop defender Eder Militao for the Champions League semi-final clash against Manchester City.
Diario AS claims that Ancelotti is beginning to lose his confidence in Eder Militao after a string of shaky performances.
Antonio Rudiger is expected to start against City, after a fine performance against Erling Haaland last week.
However, Militao has been excellent this season. In fact, Ancelotti once labelled him the best defender in the world.
Explaining why Antonio Rudiger didn’t get to feature against Getafe, Ancelotti said: “He was tired and I rested him to keep him fresh for Wednesday.
“He will play. I don’t know how many minutes, but he will play. He’ll start the game.”
