Despite being a self-acclaimed Real Madrid fan, La Liga president Javier Tebas has for some time harboured bad blood against Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.

Tebas has been very critical of Florentino Perez, especially since the Madrid supremo joined forces to try and establish the European Super League.

In a recent interview, Tebas fired another shot at Real Madrid, as he said (h/t El Partidazo de COPE), “I know Florentino well. He thinks that in Spain there are places where Real Madrid shouldn’t play. He thinks this league is weak & generates nothing.”

The La Liga president added that Real Madrid ‘cry a lot’ despite the fact that big Spanish teams earn just as much as the Premier League clubs.

“Big clubs in Spain earn as much as the ones in Premier League. Real Madrid just cry a lot about it,” he said.
