See the insensitive thing La Liga president did after Vinicius suffered racist abuse

Vinicius Jr was once again a victim of racist abuse, and it has become a normal expected for the Brazilian.

Vinicius took to social media after the game against Valencia to slam the La Liga board for their inactions, as he remarked that Spain may now be known as a racist country because of what’s going on.

Vinicius took to Twitter to say that ‘La Liga belongs to racists’ after so many racist attacks on him.

The La Liga president Javier Tebas replied that Vinicius is not informed enough.

Vinicius in turn replied that he wants actions and punishments’, not words or hashtags.

Tebas insensitively continued his argument with four points. Here’s his tweet below:

“1) Neither Spain nor La Liga are racist, it is very unfair to say that.

“2) From La Liga we denounce and persecute racism with all the harshness within our powers.

“3) This season racist insults have been reported 9 times (8 of them have been for insults against Vinicius Jr.). We always identify the madmen and file the complaint with the sanctioning bodies. It doesn’t matter how few they are, we are always relentless.

“4) We cannot allow the image of a competition that is above all a symbol of union between peoples to be tarnished, where more than 200 black players in 42 clubs receive the respect and affection of all the fans every day, racism is an extremely specific case (9 complaints) that we are going to eradicate.”

It’s time for the La to take a strong stand against racism. Enough of the explanations.
