Vinicius Jr missed Real Madrid’s 2-1 win over Rayo Vallecano, and is set to miss Saturday’s clash against Sevilla.

Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Real Madrid will also be without the services of Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio against Sevilla on Saturday.

Benzema will also miss the clash due to an injury he suffered in the win over Rayo Vallecano, where he had to get six stitches.

Speaking in the pre-match press conference, the Real Madrid manager said: “Vinicius, Benzema and Asensio will not play tomorrow. Vinicius has pain in his knee, he can’t play tomorrow. We hope to have him back for the last game.”

Vinicius is eligible to play after his red card was rescinded, but he has been struggling with a muscle injury.
