La Liga president Javier Tebas has bowed down from his previous stand where he had a war of words with Vinicius Jr, following the game against Valencia where the young Brazilian was racially abused.
Javier Tebas recently held a 90-minute press conference where he tried to sell the image of La Liga.
With talks centred around Vinicius Jr, Tebas spoke glowingly of the Brazilian, and tipped him to win the Ballon d’Or in the future.
“I said that I was convinced that Vinicius is going to win the Ballon d’Or in the future,” Tebas said.
“I think he is a very important asset, first of all for his club, and also for Spanish football, as he has already shown.”
Tebas would also claim that Vinicius Will take over from Lionel Messi as the face of the La Liga.
“I remember that it was around the departure of Messi. When they asked me who could replace Leo as a great figure of La Liga, I answered that Vinicius,” Tebas said.
