Vinicius Jr was a victim of racist abuse last Sunday when Real Madrid played against Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium.
The 22-year-old Brazilian hasn’t featured for the club again since that game.
Vinicius did not feature in the 2-1 win over Rayo Vallecano in midweek because of some knee discomfort.
He has failed to shake off the problem for Saturday’s away match with Europa League finalists Sevilla, and Carlo Ancelotti is hopeful he’d be back to action for the final La Liga game against Athletic Bilbao next weekend.
“Vinicius will not travel because he will not play, he’d go if he had the chance of playing (but) his knee is still giving him problems,” Ancelotti told a press conference on Friday.
“It doesn’t matter if it’s home or away, he can’t play. I hope that he can play in the last game.”
