According to multiple reports, Real Madrid forward Marco Asensio has decided to leave the club at the end of the season.
Reports from Relevo claim that the Spaniard has opted not to renew his contract with the Los Blancos.
Real Madrid had since tabled an offer to Asensio, but for the 27-year-old, his main condition for continuing at Bernabeu was to play an important role down the final stretch of the season.
Asensio didn’t feel as important as he’d have loved to, with Carlo Ancelotti preferring young Brazilian, Rodrygo, to him.
In 50 appearances for Los Blancos this term, Asensio has bagged 12 goals and 8 assists – his best career tally.
PSG are keen on signing Asensio as a free agent this summer.
According to ESPN, Aston Villa, Juventus and AC Milan have also shown interest in the 27-year-old but the PSG proposal appears to be the most attractive one.
