Real Madrid came from behind to beat Sevilla 2-1, with Rodrygo scoring the two goals for the Los Blancos.
The first goal was a sweet free-kick, which beat the goalkeeper from 25 yards. The second produced an equally good finish.
Speaking about the win, Rodrygo said: “We’re really pleased with the victory. These last few games we’ve been trying to play seriously and with great focus and we’ve been doing that.
“We played really well in the previous game and now, with the away win, we’ve done that too. We want to finish the season strongly and we’re pleased with that.”
The Brazilian then admitted that it’s difficult for him to choose which goal was better.
He said: “It is difficult to choose. They were two nice goals. I think the second one was a bit better, but scoring a free-kick is always special. I hadn’t scored a free-kick for a while. I’m pleased with them both.”
On the decision to take the free-kick, he added: “We always work on them in training and talk about them beforehand. We have some very good free-kick takers and whoever is more confident takes it.
“I picked up the ball and everyone knew I was going to shoot, there wasn’t any fuss. We trust each other.”
