Real Madrid are reportedly looking to sign a replacement for Karim Benzema.

The 35-year-old has been the club’s top scorer since taking the position from Cristiano Ronaldo, but it now seems that age has caught up with him.

According to a report by Mario Cortegana, Real Madrid ‘have inquired’ about Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.

Real Madrid made the inquiry to know if the Argentine will be available this summer.

Lautaro has scored 28 goals and provided 11 assists for Inter Milan this season, in what has been a fine year for him, as he has won the World Cup, Italian Cup and also reached the Champions League final.

Real Madrid are also being linked with the likes of Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen and Roberto Firmino, although the Brazilian would rather arrive as a back-up striker than as a first choice striker.
