Real Madrid are now in search of a permanent replacement for Karim Benzema.
The 35-year-old will be a free agent at the end of the season, and is believed to be interested in a very lucrative deal to oil-rich Saudi Arabia.
According to reports, Tottenham striker Harry Kane has made a key demand to Real Madrid president Florentino Perez amid speculation about a move to Spain this summer.
Kane is currently being targeted by Manchester United, Real Madrid and some of Europe’s biggest sides.
The 29-year-old has just a year left on his contract with Tottenham, who are willing to cash in on him this summer rather than risk losing him on a free transfer in 2024.
Spurs chief executive officer Daniel Levy, however does not want to sell Kane to a Premier League club. This would place Real Madrid as the number one destination for Kane.
The Los Blanco have also been linked with Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez, who’s just 25 and equally in brilliant form.
