Just a fee months ago, Luka Modric was said to have agreed a one-year contract extension with Real Madrid after the World Cup.

However, the deal was yet to be officially signed, but a verbal agreement was said to have been reached.

Luka Modric was also close to signing a contract extension with Real Madrid. But reports now claim that the veteran midfielder has told Real Madrid he wants to leave the club after receiving a stunning €120m offer to play in the Saudi league.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, has revealed that Luka Modric is yet to accept the offer from Saudi Arabia to leave Real Madrid.

Some sources in Spain are claiming that Modric only wants to retire at Real Madrid and will turn down the huge payd from Saudi.

It’s yet to be seen what decision Modric would eventually take.
