Former Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro, has thrown his support to Vinicius Jr.

The Brazilian endured a season where he was racially abused up to 8 times, before the final one against Valencia which was a horror show that led to wide criticisms around the world.

Although Vinicius has pledged to remain at Real Madrid, Casemiro believes he could decide to leave the La Liga in future.

“It bothers us that there are still people like that. It’s not the first time Vinicius has complained, he complains a lot. I think La Liga has to take action, because they can’t lose a player like that,” Casemiro told Marca.

“I’m glad he’s at Real Madrid. But I wouldn’t be surprised if he wanted to leave, if he wanted to dedicate himself to other things.”
