Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr has been named Real Madrid’s Player of the Year, for the 2022/23 season.

The Brazilian had a fine individual season, and scored 23 goals with 16 assists in 55 appearances.

Vinicius beat Karim Benzema and Thibaut Courtois to the award, with the duo also having a good season.

After winning the award, Vinicius said: “I’m very happy to have the support of the fans.

“I want to continue improving and developing to always be my best. I hope that next season I can continue in this way to help the team.”
