Real Madrid have been linked with a move for Chelsea star Kai Havertz in the past, when he was playing for Bayer Leverkusen.
Real Madrid backed out from signing Havertz at the time, and his agent eventually offered the German to Chelsea, and the Blues signed him up.
Chelsea signed Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen in 2020 for €80m. Havertz was expected to be a star signing, but the German hasn’t really hit expected heights at Stamford Bridge.
Carlo Ancelotti is believed to be a fan of the German international who can play anywhere across the forward line, and also as an attacking midfielder.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has now reported that Real Madrid have no intention to pay €60m plus add-ons for Kai Havertz.
Carlo Ancelotti wants Real Madrid to sign the player, but there are no plans from the club for such an outlay, especially after spending over €100m on Jude Bellingham.
