Kylian Mbappe has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for some time now, and it seems that the deal will happen sooner than expected.

Kylian Mbappe has sent an official statement to the media explaining the controversial letter to PSG where he told the club he will not extend his contract.

“I have never discussed a contract extension with PSG,” Mbappe writes in his statement to AFP.

“The board has been informed since July 15th, 2022 of my decision not to extend beyond 2024, and the letter sent was only meant to confirm what I already told them.”

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, PSG feel betrayed by Mbappe’s actions as they were depending on him for the coming season.

It’s yet to be seen the step the France superstar will take this summer.
