Reports have linked Real Madrid with a move for Espanyol striker Joselu.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid are now finalising details to complete the signing of Joselu from Espanyol.
Joselu is expected to be a back-up striker for Real Madrid next season, and the 33-year-old who came off the bench to score the winner for Spain in their Nations League semi-final against Italy, is confident about his future.
“I have played the three best leagues in the world and I have enjoyed them all,” Joselu told reporters on Thursday.
“It is true that La Liga adapts a lot to my game. In the end, age is just a number.
“About the rumours [to Real Madrid], now I want to focus here, we’ll talk when the stay is over. Starting Monday. Let’s see what happens.
“Yesterday was a very nice day.”
