Real Madrid have been linked with a move for PSG star Kylian Mbappe for some years now.

The transfer of Mbappe to the Santiago Bernabeu is expected to happen soon.

Mbappe has recently admitted he won’t be extending his stay with PSG.

La Liga president Javier Tebas has admitted he wants Real Madrid to seal a deal for Mbappe, who’s seen as the biggest star on the planet after the era of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

According to Relevo, the Spaniard was speaking at the opening of the La Liga Promises tournament this weekend and said “I hope his future is at Real Madrid.”

Kylian Mbappe has sent an official statement to the media explaining the controversial letter to PSG where he told the club he will not extend his contract.

“I have never discussed a contract extension with PSG,” Mbappe writes in his statement to AFP.

“The board has been informed since July 15th, 2022 of my decision not to extend beyond 2024, and the letter sent was only meant to confirm what I already told them.”
