Real Madrid are doing their transfer business early this summer, and have now sealed their second signing of the summer transfer window, after confirming the transfer of Jude Bellingham just last week.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Real Madrid have completed the deal to sign Joselu from Espanyol.
According to the report, the 33-year-old striker will join Real Madrid on a season-long loan deal until 2024 with a non-mandatory buyout option for €1.5m.
Real will pay a loan fee of €500k to Espanyol. The Los Blancos will still sign a top striker, as 33-year-old Joselu is expected to be a back-up striker.
Thee transfer is expected to be announced this week.
It’s actually the third signing of the summer, if you add the recall of Fran Garcia from Rayo Vallecano. Good job, Real Madrid.
