Luka Modric will turn 38 in September, and the Real Madrid veteran has been given a mouth-watering offer from Saudi Arabia.
Saudi side Al-Hilal offered Modric a deal worth €200m per three seasons.
According to reporter Gianluca di Marzio, Modric has rejected the offer.
The Croatian is rather willing to stay at Real Madrid for one more season, and play high level football.
Modric actually extended his deal with Real Madrid a month ago, the source claims.
Modric was at first swayed by the offer, but he’s now expected to remain at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Modric is currently away on international duty with Croatia. The Croatian skipper is expected to give a public statement after the Nations League final on Sunday.
