Villarreal CEO, Fernando Roig Negueroles has reacted to rumours that Samuel Chukwueze could leave the Yellow Submarines to join another club this summer.

The Nigerian international has been linked with a transfer to the Real Madrid and some Premier League  sides after another good season with Villarreal.

“It’s true that he’s excited to play for a big club in Europe or in the Premier League,” Negueroles said on the matter.

“If this option came up, we would sit down and negotiate it. But it will be necessary to see if any beneficial offer arrives for the three parties. In this case, no offer has yet arrived.”

It’s yet to be seen if Real Madrid would make a move for Chukwueze this summer.
