PSG star Kylian Mbappe has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for the past three years, but has somehow remained at PSG.

The 23-year-old is now keen on leaving PSG this summer, where he has high hopes of winning the Ballon d’Or.

Mbappe has recently declared that he’s deserving of winning the Ballon d’Or this year.

“The Ballon d’Or? It’s always difficult to talk about an individual trophy because you have to put yourself forward,” Kylian Mbappe told TF1.

“It’s something that doesn’t necessarily go down well with the general public.

“Do I deserve the Ballon d’Or? With the new criteria, what counts? Catching the eye, scoring goals and making an impact? I think I fit those criteria.

“I’d say yes [I deserve to win the Ballon d’Or], but it’s the people who vote and I’m always optimistic.”
