Valencia had been hit with a fine and a partial ban on their stadium following the racial abuse meted on Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr.

A large portion of the stadium chanted racist abuse at Vinicius Jr, but Valencia continue to claim that it was just five fans who did so.

Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah condemned their fans for the vile abuse on Vinicius, but the club has now decided to put up the midfielder for sale in the aftermath of his comments supporting Vinicius Jr and condemning the racist abuse he suffered in Valencia, according to Relevo.

Musah said in a Guardian interview: “It was sad to see how the stadium sang at its maximum volume against someone who had received racist insults like Vinicius.

“The stadium was at the highest power I’ve ever heard. I can’t imagine how Vinicius must have felt.”

Valencia now wants to sell Musah for €25m, reports claim.

This is a new low for Valencia. Just last week, a top British brand cut ties with the club following the racial abuse dished out to Vinicius last month when Real Madrid visited them.

It seems Valencia is more interested in covering up their fans than actually punishing the perpetrators of the act.
