According to reports from Spain, Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr, has agreed terms to a five-year deal.
The 22-year-old has grown into a world class player, and enjoyed a superb 2022-23 season, as he helped Real Madrid to win the Spanish Super Cup, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup titles, as well as being named in the LaLiga and Champions League teams of the season for the last two campaigns.
Spanish outlet Cadena ESR, Vinicius has agreed a mega new deal that will keep him at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2028.
The new deal will see Vinicius Jr wages increase tremendously, and he’d become the highest earner at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The deal also has a buyout clause of £860m (€1billion) and contains a ‘loyalty clause’ – a bonus for fulfilling the entire contract in an attempt to keep him at the club for the whole five years.
Vinicius will also receive a bonus if he wins the Ballon d’Or award during his time at the club.
The deal is said to be in the final stages of negotiations, with agreement between Real Madrid and Vinicius Jr very close.
