Real Madrid are reportedly open to selling Federico Valverde this summer, if they receive an astronomical offer for the star.
According to Spanish newspaper, El Nacional, the Los Blancos will consider selling the Uruguayan if they get an offer around £90m.
Valverde has drawn interest from some of Europe’s top clubs over the last couple of years, after establishing himself as a key member of Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
Liverpool are keen on bolstering their midfield, and a player like Valverde, with a high technical ability has been targeted as a great addition to Jurgen Klopp’s side.
The 22-year-old was previously considered untouchable at Madrid, but it is now believed that Real Madrid may be open for a deal, following the signing of Jude Bellingham.
For now, it is all just rumours though, as neither Madrid nor Liverpool have confirmed the report.
It’s unimaginable that Real will let Valverde leave, especially after his exploits last season.
