Brazilian club Flamengo have jokingly asked to sign Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr just for this summer.

“Hey, Real Madrid, can we keep Vini Jr around for the rest of the summer?”, Flamengo wrote on twitter.

Flamengo is Vinicius’s boyhood club, and he signed up for Real Madrid from Flamengo, as a highly rated teenager back in 2018.

Vinicius has grown in leaps and bound, and has been backed by many to win the Ballon d’Or in the near future.

The Brazilian had a fine season last term, where he recorded 23 goals with 21 assists, in 55 appearances for the club.
