Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has heaped praise on France star Kylian Mbappe.

Zidane has said he’d like to coach the PSG star who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Speaking in an interview with L’Equipe, Zidane said: “When you’re a coach and there’s a player like him, of course you want to coach him. I think it could happen one day. I admire what he’s doing.”

Zidane can only fulfil this dream if he returns as Real Madrid head coach, or probably coaches France.

Carlo Ancelotti is expected to leave his post in 2024, which will make the job vacant once again.
