According to reports, Carlo Ancelotti is considering a change in formation for next season.

Ancelotti wants to switch from his favoured 4-3-3 to a 4-4-2 next season, reports The Athletic.

Madrid do not have a top striker following the departure of Karim Benzema, with Joselu signed as a back-up.

Ancelotti may switch to a 4-4-2 system next season, which could see Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo play together as strike partners.

The report further claims that Joselu will be a back-up striker, with Real Madrid planning to wait for Kylian Mbappe to join the club next summer.
