Gareth Bale has said that Cristiano Ronaldo was a good teammate at Real Madrid.
However, Bale also admits Ronaldo could also lose his temper at times for not scoring a goal, even though his team won the game convincingly.
“He was a good teammate and we always had a good relationship,” said Bale on Martin Borgmeier’s YouTube channel.
“He was good, although he had his moments. For example, if we won 5-0 and he didn’t score, he would go into the locker room and throw his boots as if he were angry. It’s like you win the game, the Ryder Cup and you get angry because you haven’t scored a point.”
Bale also said that “Cristiano was a good person, we never had any problems” and assured that “if he thanked the team when he won the Ballon d’Ors? Yes, he did.”
Everyone knows CR7 was passionate to a fault, and his competitive nature drove him to excellence.
