Surprise reports have linked Premier League side, Liverpool, with a move for Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde.

Liverpool have been interested in the Uruguayan for some time now, but no official offer has been made. Reports now claim that the English side are ready to shell out €100m for the 24-year-old.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has however claimed that Real Madrid have no plans of selling Federico Valverde.

The 24-year-old is still considered a key player in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
