It appears that Villarreal’s Alex Baena made some false accusations against Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde.

According to El Espanol, the investigating Court No. 48 of Madrid has dismissed the complaint filed by Villarreal player Alex Baena against Federico Valverde.

The judge stated that the facts were unproven.

Moreso, Baena apparently made some false claims in his statement as his information does not match the one with the videos provided to the police.

The 21-year-old also wrote that Valverde ‘had acknowledged his assault before the police’ – whereas the Uruguayan insisted that ‘nothing happened’.
