Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has been linked with the Brazil job for some time now, and the Selecao FA have now confirmed that they have snapped up the Italian.

The Brazilian Football Confederation has announced that Diniz will combine his international duties with his role as Fluminense boss, while Carlo Ancelotti will be Brazil’s head coach starting from the 2023/24 season, their Football Association have confirmed.
“He is a coach whose game-plan is really similar to that of the coach who will take over for the Copa America, Ancelotti,” Brazil FA president Ednaldo Rodrigues said, according to reports in Brazil. “He has almost the same type of methods.”
Carlo Ancelotti will start his next job in June 2024 when the Copa America will be held.
The 64-year-old will respect his Real Madrid contract which expires on June 30, 2024.
