Real Madrid have beaten Barcelona to the signing of Turkish talent, Arda Guler.

The club confirmed the deal earlier today, and revealed that the 18-year-old will be presented on Friday.

The club released a statement, thus: Real Madrid C.F. and Fenerbahce SK have agreed on the transfer of the player Arda Güler, who is linked to our club for the next six seasons.

“Tomorrow, Friday, July 7, at 12:00 p.m. in the Ciudad Real Madrid, the presentation of Arda Güler as a new Real Madrid player will take place.

“Next, Arda Güler will appear before the media.”

Real Madrid reportedly paid €20m to sign the attacking midfielder on a six-year contract.
