Kylian Mbappe has made it clear that he won’t be signing a new deal with Paris Saint-Germain.

Mbappe’s contract with PSG winds up in the summer of 2024, and he has decided not to extend it further.

Mbappe is keen on joining Real Madrid at the end of his time with PSG, which would make him a free agent.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, has however warned that the club won’t let Mbappe leave as a free agent.

“Our position is strong. Mbappé will not leave for free. Impossible,” PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi said at a press conference.

“The best player in the world leaving for free is not happening.

“If Kylian wants to stay, we want him to stay. But he needs to sign a new contract.”

This now means that PSG may try to force a sale this summer. Real Madrid are however willing to wait until next summer, when they can sign him for free.
