Real Madrid today unveiled their new signing, Arda Güler.

The Los Blancos beat Barcelona to the signing of the 18-year-old Turkish talent, who is very much highly rated.

According to reports, Real Madrid paid €20m to secure the services of the teenager.

There are claims that Guler may leave on loan this summer. But the teenager said during his unveiling that that he’d fight to play in the first team.

He told reporters: “I think I’m ready to play here and I want to stay here and not go on loan. If Real Madrid gives me the opportunity to play, I want to take advantage of it.

“Going on loan is not in my plans. At Real Madrid they told me I’m going to play and I don’t want to go on loan.”
