According to a report by Diario AS, PSG are fed up with Kylian Mbappe and have put the player up for sale.
Mbappe recently revealed that he won’t be extending his contract with the Parisians, and wants to run down his contract at PSG.
By so doing, he will earn a loyalty bonus of €80m, while PSG on their part are trying everything they can to stop that from happening.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has made it clear that they will not allow Mbappe to leave for free and are ready to accept any offer for the player as they believe he will not sign a contract extension.
Mbappe is also due to receive half of his loyalty bonus by July 31, and PSG aren’t interested in losing him for free after paying such a fee on loyalty bonus.
Meanwhile, Ex-PSG sporting director Leonardo has told PSG to ensure they sell Kylian Mbappe this summer.
Leonardo hailed Mbappé as a great player, but questioned his loyalty to PSG.
“For the good of PSG, I think the time has come for Mbappe to leave, whatever happens,” Leonardo told L’Equipe.
“Paris-Saint-Germain existed before Kylian Mbappé and will exist after him.
“Due to his behaviour in the last two years, Mbappé has shown that he is still not a player capable of really leading a team.
“He is a great player, not a leader. He is a great goalscorer, not a playmaker. It is difficult to build a team around him.”
