Reports had claimed that Real Madrid summer signing Jude Bellingham, was struggling with a knee injury, and there are fears it could affect his pre-season.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that he actually had some discomfort with his knee, but that the 20-year-old is fine now.

“Bellingham is working hard, he had a little problem on holiday, on his knee, but know he’s fine and he will play on this tour,” Carlo Ancelotti has said in his chat with The Athletic.

“Jude is a very young player and different from other midfielders we have. We are very happy that he is here with us and he will raise the level of Real Madrid.”

Bellingham is looking sharp already in training, and is due to travel with Real Madrid for the pre-season tour in the United States next week.
