According to reports, Bayern Munich have now joined the race for Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni.

Tchouaméni has been attracting interest from top sides across Europe, with Liverpool said to be one of his admirers.

According to SPORT1, Bayern Munich are also interested in Tchouaméni.

Bayern Munich head coach Thomas Tuchel has identified Tchouaméni as the ideal ball-playing number six he needs for the new season.

The 23-year-old midfielder will have to battle it out for a place in the team next season, following the signing of Jude Bellingham.

There’s also the presence of veteran duo Toni Kroos and Luka Modrić, and also Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde.

According to the report, with the Euros fast approaching, a potential move to Bayern Munich and regular playing time could tempt the Real Madrid midfielder to move to the Bundesliga.

Tchouaméni is also said to have asked an unnamed French national teammate about Bayern Munich.
