Kylian Mbappe is in the final year of his contract with PSG, and the Frenchman is yet to extend his contract with the club.

Mbappe has made it clear that he doesn’t want to extend his stay at Paris, while PSG are insisting he either signs a new contract or gets sold this summer.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Kylian Mbappe are yet to discuss the player’s future.

PSG kicked off preseason training Monday, and according to L’Equipe, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi addressed the squad before the first training session.

Al-Khelaifi warned in his speech that no player is bigger than the club.

He stated that “the club is larger than any person” – and he included himself.

“I hope you are 200% in training, you are in the best training centre in the world. You should be proud and benefit from it, because you have everything to succeed here. You are not lacking anything and there is no excuse for not succeeding.”
