According to reports, PSG have made the big decision to drop Kylian Mbappe out of their pre-season squad heading for Japan.

As we all know, PSG have put Mbappe in the transfer market, with transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claiming that it has been done with immediate effect.

Mbappe has made it clear that he won’t be signing a new contract with PSG, while PSG insist they will not allow Mbappe to leave for free next year.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has maintained that it’s either Mbappe signs a new contract, or he’ll be sold this summer.

While referencing Mbappe, Al-Khelaifi warned the PSG players in a recent speech that no player is bigger than the club.

He stated that “the club is larger than any person” – and he included himself.

“I hope you are 200% in training, you are in the best training centre in the world. You should be proud and benefit from it, because you have everything to succeed here. You are not lacking anything and there is no excuse for not succeeding.”

From the look of things, Real Madrid may sign Mbappe this summer, and are already monitoring the situation. The Los Blancos are prepared to wait until next summer to sign Mbappe as a free agent, but that may no longer be on the table.
